Plasquip (Pty) Ltd. was formed in 1988 by Tony Varrie, our chairman, who is an Honorary Life Fellow of the Plastics Institute, with more than 35 years experience in the plastics industry. From humble beginnings consisting of two small offices and 300 square meters of storage, located in Wadeville, the company has grown to be one of the largest suppliers of Plastic Conversion Equipment in southern Africa.
The Wadeville headquarters now consists of a dozen offices and 3500m2 of storage, where the bulk of the stock is available for immediate delivery. Our offices in Cape Town and Durban both have sales and technical team members alike. The office in Zimbabwe is situated in Harare which looks after sales and technical functions with regular support from South Africa. Plasquip utilises a sub-agent in Namibia and Angola.
